DAIC hardware phased out over the summer
As part of the ongoing renewal of DAIC, several older compute nodes were phased out over the summer.
The retired hardware includes:
- 5 CPU-only nodes with AMD EPYC processors (
influ4-6,3dgi1-2); - 4 GPU nodes with NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti GPUs (
influ2-3,insy15-16); and - 1 GPU node with 8 × NVIDIA V100-SXM2 GPUs (
cor1).
These systems were installed between 2020 and 2021 and had reached approximately 5.5–6.5 years of service.
